Welcome back to another edition of Where’s Your Boo. And this week, I must admit, since I began publishing this newsletter way back in August 2025, I have never seen a diverse mix of singles and speed dating events until this week.
We have Christian, Muslim, Hindu, LGBTQ+ and straight, ages 20s/30s/40s/50s/60s events, and city & suburbs events in the house. We have events for those that like arcades, traditional speed dating, traditional mixers, picking up trash community clean-up, red flags social (light-hearted of course), rooftops, pitching your friends to other singles, watching rom-coms at rooftops, spring flings, art galleries, boxing workouts, pickleball, board games, sneaker-heads…in the house.
And there’s even an event for those that like Irish Bars (Guinness alert!).
I mean wow. Chicagoland, if any one of those don’t appeal to you, please let me know. I need to check your ID to make sure you are from Earth.
Singles events organizers are getting the message. Singles want more variety of events that cater towards their interests, and we’re seeing it.
Dreams do come true.
