Welcome back to your regular, weekly scheduled programming of curated singles and speed dating events across Chicagoland!

I’m your host, Ashvin, and I will be revealing an event each week starting in this week’s issue that is part of the Where’s Your Boo Spotlight series. This series highlights events each week that are either Hidden Gems or Level Up events (educational).

For this week’s spotlight, the Level-Up event of the week is……drum roll please………. It Takes a Village to Date in 2026, hosted by Lauren Fondreist (dating coach in Chicago). This event is geared towards single woman and takes place this Wednesday, August 12.

I mean, c’mon Chicagoland, don’t tell me you thought August is National Couch Potato month, because it’s not. It’s summer, it’s beautiful, and Chicagoland’s wonderful events organizers have curated a great list of events this week and for the remainder of the month. So the couch can wait.

It Takes a Village to Date in 2026, hosted by Lauren Fondreist. Lauren is a dating coach and this is an educational event geared towards single women.
